TONIGHT: wrfl presents Caroliner at Al's

Dear friends,

These are the things you should know about San Francisco's Caroliner:

  • According to the band, the lyrics are all a tribute to a singing cow from the 1800s. (Her name was Caroliner.)
  • lo-fi bluegrass meets experimental noise (a sound informed as much by the echoes of lost miners as by nails being dropped down a flight of stairs)
  • They are playing at Al's tonight for $5.
  • Only you will not recognize it as Al's, because it will look something like this:

  • They take it to another level altogether.
  • Eyes and Arms of Smoke and Kraken Fury will open.
  • Stuff like this doesn't happen around here very often.
  • You probably should make it a point to be there.
xo,
riot
